Publishing on the Web- It's Your Turn


*Write a Lesson*



In this session you will create a lesson that uses Internet resources, write it in HTML, and submit it to CRPC's GirlTECH for possible publication in our list of lessons.

Remember the criteria with which we are evaluating the lessons.

Instructions for Using Lesson Template
  1. Read through the following directions.
  2. Open the lesson template.
  3. Save this file and remember the saved location.
  4. Open the file in MS Word.
  5. Edit the file replacing the appropriate prompts and write your lesson.
  6. Save the file and view in browser. (Note that the image cannot be viewed from your saved file.) You are welcome to find other images and links to incorporate into your lesson.
  7. When completed, send the file/s (HTML and image files) as an attachment via e-mail to Susan Boone; sboone@cs.rice.edu, or Cynthia Lanius; lanius@cml.rice.edu. The lesson will be reviewe d and considered for posting on the GirlTECH lesson page.
  8. An HTML tutorial is associated with this lesson.
