I love to travel, read, and "play" on the computer. I am a mere novice at using these technical toys. I am learning a lot and looking forward to learning more. I have ventured to eight foreign countries, the latest being Hong Kong in 1992. I have invested a lot of energy promoting gender- equity issues in education. This is of particular interest to me since I have two daughters.
Since I am teaching three different levels of Algebra, I am particularly interested in sharing teaching ideas in Algebra. I hope to allow my students access to the internet and am searching for ways to work the internet into my curriculum. The particpants of GirlTECH are working on lesson plans this summer. You are welcome to search these lessons.
In addition to teaching algebra, I am currently working on the Saint Agnes Academy's home page and am sponsoring a GirlTECH council at school.
