ANOTHER
REMINDER: OCT. 11 IS DEADLINE FOR BOOKING HOTEL ROOMS
AT CONFERENCE RATES
If you're planning to attend SC2002 and haven't booked
your hotel room yet, there are two good reasons for
doing it now.
One,
the number of available rooms at the conference hotels
near the Baltimore Convention Center is shrinking every
day.
Two,
Friday, Oct. 11, is the last day to reserve a room at
one of the conference hotels and receive the guaranteed
conference room rate (because many of the hotels will
be fully booked, any room that becomes available can
command a premium rate).
For
more information about hotel rooms and a link to the
room reservation form, go to and click on "housing."
A
note about room cancellations
Hotel room reservations for SC2002 that are cancelled
after Friday, Oct. 11, but before Monday, Nov. 4, will
be charged a $25 cancellation-processing fee. Reservations
cancelled after Nov. 4 will be charged a $150 fee. More
information about cancellation policies can be found
on the housing page of the SC web site.
To
make changes or to cancel your reservation, go to
or call 877-665-9522 toll-free or 506-433-7966 internationally.

THE
EXHIBITORS JUST KEEP ON SIGNING UP - 212 NOW ON BOARD
This year's conference, which already set a record for
the largest number of Industry and Research exhibitors
in the 15 years of the SC conference, continues to attract
interest. In the past week, Exhibits Manager Don Collier
of DC Expositions carved out space for 13 more booths
on the exhibit hall floor. To date, there are 212 companies
and research organizations signed up, including 38 new
industry exhibitors. The exhibits will open the evening
of Monday, Nov. 18, with a special two-hour gala event.
The
lineup of Industry and Research exhibitors can be found
in the Exhibitors section of the website:. This list
is constantly being updated, so if you don't see your
company or organization on the list, we will do our
best to get them up on the website as soon as possible.
